Management Of Hospitals

Sanmat has been successful in providing accessible healthcare and clinical services in the remotest places in India, including the hard-to-reach terrains. In collaboration with the Department of Tribal Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, we are managing the hospitals in Dumka and Jamtara districts of the state. These places inhabit one of the most underprivileged groups- the Particularly Vulnerable Tribe Groups (PVTG).

Sanmat is also managing a 50-bedded Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) owned hospital in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Sanmat, through its efforts ensures:

Enhanced Radiological And Pathological Serviced Access

Improved OPD, IPD & Emergency Services

Better Surgical Capabilities By Ensuring Availability Of Surgeons And Related Facilities

Better Access And Implementation Of Ayushmaan Bharat Scheme

Mobile Medical Unit

The private ambulance services charge exorbitantly from the families facing emergencies. People are forced to pay the hefty amount due to the limited availability of ambulances. Sanmat acts as a bridge between underprivileged families and ambulance service providers to monitor and control the quality of service provided.

Telemedicine

Sanmat plans to initiate teleconsultations in the ITI campus clinic, Manoharpur, in the West Singhbhum district. The objective of this intervention is to help people have equitable access to medical consultation.

Convergence Between Programs

Sanmat utilises its skill training experience and infrastructure to meet the requirement of human resources in its other programs too.

TRAINING OF HEALTH AMBASSADORS

Realising the need for healthcare volunteers at a community level, trained volunteers (especially women) as health ambassadors to identify the danger signs and advice or make arrangements for people to reach the hospital.

TRAINING OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SUPPORT STAFF

Fulfilled the forecasted demand for phlebotomists, emergency medical technicians, bedside attendants, and basic nursing skills for COVID support and helped administer COVID vaccines to 150,000 people.

TRAINING OF VOLUNTEERS FOR THE CCCP ON COVID-19

Trained 120 volunteers in the Cus- tomised Crash Course Program on COVID-19 (CCCP), in Jharkhand:
1. on prevention of COVID-19 infection
2. actions to take in case of infection
3. identification of symptoms and need for hospitalisation
